Modern Mythology: Aphrodite

Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and beauty. Her long list of lovers included both gods and humans despite her marriage to Hephaestus. Manicures, makeup sessions and an insane amount of retail therapy are how she spends her afternoons. For someone as flawless as her she must have the best of the best - shoes, handbags, boys. Behind rose-tinted glasses she’s always searching, waiting for her next catch. Weaving their hands together and smiling like she’s the happiest girl on the planet. However, just like shoes and handbags there is always something new, something better. So she never stays with her boys too long, but long enough to make them think about her everyday when she’s gone.
